Black Book - Patience

In the painting tradition of modernism, black is forbidden, so I developed a fear of black. Fear of the dark and shrouded under the philosophy of positive thinking, whether I wanted to or not.
So, in 2012, when the year the world was supposed to collapse catastrophically, I processed my fear through black images. I accepted the blackness and realized the world is endlessly collapsing; only the cause is always new. I still don’t understand how we really live under the dictatorship of a world catastrophe and consequently live only half in eternal fear) … well, I processed my fear through black images and Black Book – Patience. From them came the graphic poem Arkanum.

I found an infinite blackness and beauty of darkness.
